Responsibilities:

- Develop CNC programs based on engineering drawings and solid models using Mastercam 2019
- Working knowledge of G and M codes
- Identify and create tool paths on part features
- Read engineered drawings and sketches
- Determine best work piece holding and sequence of machining operations
- Demonstrate good manufacturing practices and be able to select appropriate tooling and machining resources
- Working knowledge of measuring instruments i.e. verniers, indicators, micrometers, bore gauges, gauge blocks, and edge finder
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

- Ability to program with minimal supervision, using Mastercam 2019
- Working knowledge of measuring instruments (vernier, micrometers, indicators, scales, bore gauge, etc.)
- Ability to read engineered drawings and sketches
- Working knowledge of G and M codes
- Good working knowledge of all cutting tools
- Demonstrate optimization of existing programs and processes where necessary
