Community Voicemail

Can't afford a telephone?

Do you need to receive employer's messages, but no one at home speaks English?

Are you concerned that you will not receive accurate messages?

Are you in transition between stable homes?

When looking for work, it's important to have a place where you can receive reliable messages. The Working Centre offers two options:

  • We post paper messages for over 200 people at our 58 Queen Street South location - we will post a paper message in your name for any incoming phone call - it's up to you to collect your messages during our open hours
  • We provide personalized voice mail boxes for 400 individuals. Register for this service by visiting our 58 Queen Street South location. Depending on availability, you will be assigned a private message box for receiving messages.

To leave a message for someone on Community Voicemail, call: (519) 749-9177.  Then enter the mailbox extension of the person your would like to reach.
