Job Title: Bilingual Customer Service I
Department: Customer Service
Reports To: Office Manager

POSITION SUMMARY

This position is responsible for providing an excellent customer service experience and assisting other departments by processing necessary orders beginning with receiving orders to invoicing and communicating with other departments as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Respond to customer inquiries in a friendly timely manner providing great customer service by providing prompt and courteous responses to inquiries regarding information on our products, availability, delivery, price and product information, as well as general company information.
· Resolve and track customer issues or concerns via phone, email, or other channels of communication.
· Explain the proper use of products to assist customers with questions ensuring proper use of each product.
· Promptly and accurately enter customer and retailer orders received via e-mail, fax, EDI or phone into SAP, or other processes as needed.
· Process refunds and returns for customers by working with other departments.
· Communicate to customers and other departments with the order status including back-orders, inventory status and discontinued items.
· Work with other departments where appropriate and develop solid internal partnerships to ensure company goals and customer requirements are met.
· Maintain applicable records within SAP and other systems.
· Provide management with informative feedback (positive or negative) from customers.
· Assist with EDI order processing as needed; including receiving, processing, ASNs and invoicing.
· Responsible for managing multiple retailer accounts.
· Review purchase orders for accuracy to ensure customer's request and requirements have been met
· Importing/exporting EDI orders, ASN's and invoices throughout the day.
· Problem-solving EDI errors by working with our trading partners and True Commerce.
· Other duties may be assigned as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills in French and English. · Exceptional team player, with a friendly and positive attitude. · Critical thinking and problem-solving skills required. · Ability to work independently, and resolve issues without guidance. · Call center experience preferred but not required. · Basic ability to operate computers and related software programs, including Microsoft Office (Word, excel, and Outlook) and the internet to name a few. · Basic ability to operate computers and related software programs, including Microsoft Office (Word, excel, and Outlook) and the internet to name a few. - Minimum one-year customer service experience required.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Some post-secondary education, or equivalent work experience


COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Ability to read, and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Must be able to communicate effectively within a team, with related departments, and with customers verbally and in written correspondence.
Bilingual (English/French) is required

REASONING AND/OR CRITICAL THINKING ABILITY
Work assignments are routine and regularly recurring and require attention and concentration. Limited planning, discretion, and consideration are necessary to adequately carry out work activities.

COMPUTER SKILLS
Excellent overall computer skills required
High degree of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel is a plus
Experience with SAP Business 1 a plus as well as Zendesk

Knowledge of general Customer Service skills
