A Family in the Brampton is looking for an experienced, fun, caring but firm Nanny to care for their children. We are seeking a professional Nanny, ideally who has experience working with high profile Families. We need someone organized and discreet who can hit the ground running. As a nanny you will play a key role in providing care, intellectual stimulation, discipline, and entertainment for the children. You will also collaborate with the parents to plan and prepare meals, organize activities and outings, and arrange for transportation.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Title: Live-In Nanny
Location: Brampton, Ontario
Job Type: Full-time
Compensation: $14/hour-$17/hour based on experience
Children's Ages: 3 years to 10 Years
Start Date: As early as Possible

Qualifications:
- 2+ experience working as a Nanny
- Experience working in a high-profile home an asset
- ECE or teaching degree an asset
- Experience traveling with Families
- Experience providing full charge, overnight care
- Valid Ontario's Driver's License an asset
- First Aid/CPR or willing to obtain
- Police reference check or willing to obtain
- 2-3 childcare related references

Experience:
- Working with a High-Profile Family: 1 year (Preferred)
- Child Care: 2 years (Preferred)

Nanny Duties and Responsibilities:
- Tend to the general and basic needs of the children while providing supervision to ensure the children's safety in day-to-day activities
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities.
- Supervise homework and assist if needed.
- Teach children safe behavior based on environmental context; for example, seek adult assistance to cross the street
- Monitor the children's behavior for irregularities pertaining to their health and well-being as well as their physical, emotional, and mental development
- In case of illness or injury, provide necessary medical attention
- Assign chores as appropriate to teach the children responsibility, self-control, and self-confidence
- Transport the children to school, extracurricular activities, social outings, and medical appointments
- Meet with the parents regularly to reflect on and plan for the children's activities and development
