For women interested in hands-on Food-Processing and Millwright training.

The KW YMCA and Conestoga College are offering a free Pre-Apprenticeship program this spring. The program runs full-time during the day for 23 weeks and also features an additional 8 week practical work placement.

Participants will be exposed to basic level apprenticeship training in two trades, Process Operator - Food Manufacturing and Millwright.

This is the last information session about this program. Interested participants must attend an information session to be considered.

If you are interested in this program, you will be asked to complete an assessment immediately following the information session. The assessment will cover English, math, and mechanical reasoning. Participants will need to bring:

  •         pen
  •         pencil
  •         calculator
  •         Social Insurance Number
