This free program will offer training and a work placement for people who are interested in working in the Welding and Metal Fabricating Industries.
The program is based at Conestoga College's Waterloo Campus and begins in May 2017, running through the spring for 25 weeks, plus an 8-week work placement.
If you are interested in this program, you will be asked to complete an assessment immediately following the information session. The assessment will cover English, math, and mechanical reasoning. Participants will need to bring:
- pen
- pencil
- calculator
- Social Insurance Number
