Resume Styles

Resumes can vary in style and format; a resume is a personal document meant to reflect a job searcher's unique skills and experience in a format that is attractive to a potential employer.  At The Working Centre, an employment counsellor can help you make a balanced resume that bridges the gap between job searcher and employer, taking into account the wants and needs of both parties.

An employment counsellor can also help you choose which kind of resume - be it a chronological, functional/skills based, or electronic resume - to use, and in which situation each style is appropriate. We are available to help you transition to a new kind of job, navigate gaps in work history, and apply appropriately on-line.
