UCRC Partnership in Kenya

Ugunja Community Resource Centre (UCRC) is a non-governmental organisation operating in Siaya District of Nyanza Province, in Kenya. UCRC's mission is to facilitate community development through networking, knowledge exchange and service provision. To this end, the UCRC operates programmes in several areas, such as sustainable agriculture, health and disability, education and women's empowerment.

In May of 2005, The Working Centre was asked by the UCRC and Canadian Crossroads International to participate in an official partnership. This has included volunteer exchanges between organizations to share skills, knowledge, and perspectives in community building.
