The successful candidate will be joining our team at our newly built facility in North Waterloo.

Job Role:
The Tool & Die Maker Apprentice is responsible for building Molds and Trim tools primarily used in the automotive industry. The Tool & Die Maker Apprentice is responsible for manual machining and grinding of components, using various materials and manual machines, as well as assembly, testing and troubleshooting tools in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:
- Build or modify new and existing molds and trim tools
- Troubleshoot, repair and test new and existing tools as required
- Utilize drawings for manufacturing components and assembly of tools
- Operate various manual machines, including lathe, milling machines and surface grinders

Qualifications:
- Tool and Die Maker first or second year apprentice or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in manufacturing molds and trim tools
- Operating knowledge of all manual machines
- Ability to manufacture components to .001" tolerances when required
- Ability to read/interpret drawings, specifications and tolerances accurately
- Good communication skills
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work as a team member and individually with minimum supervision
- Ability to manage multiple tasks
- Must have own tools
- Must be able to travel to US and Mexico
