We had the pleasure this week of meeting at The Working Centre with Fr. Greg Boyle who was visiting our community on the invitation of St. Jerome’s University as part of their Lectures in Catholic Experience.  We found many parallels in our work and the messages shared by Fr. Greg.

Speaking from his deep experience as a Catholic priest, he inspired and strengthened us… “I spent the most amazing several hours with the people of The Working Centre, and I was so moved by them… People at The Working Centre have stood at the margins as the only way to erase them is to stand out in them.” ..

The depth of his story-telling and reflection nourishes the importance of inclusion, non-violence, unconditional loving kindness, and compassionate acceptance.
