A Better Tent City is an encampment of homeless people, who are unable to access housing in shelters but now each have a secure home of their own in a unique community.
The many people who created and supported this project are being honoured with the Record’s 2021 Barnraiser Award, which celebrates those who build community with no regard to personal gain.
