Line Cook/Prep Cook

Here at Nanaz Kitchen we are looking for a skilled and professional line/prep cook that is eager to provide customers with great food and excellent service.We are looking for professional line cooks to prepare food to the exact Chef's specifications and to set up stations for menu. Line cook duties will consist of assisting the Executive and Sous chef with their daily tasks.


- Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, preparing sauces, or decorating pastries)
- Preparing ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat etc.)
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
- Answer, report and follow executive or sous chef's instructions
- Stock inventory appropriately
- Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Ability to lift 60 lbs and stand for long periods of time
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers

- Experience in service restaurant
- Flexible schedule
- Task-driven individual
- Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
- Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
