The successful candidate will be joining our team at our newly built facility in North Waterloo.

Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate a Toshiba Boring Mill and also other types of CNC Milling machines as required
- Program 2D and 3D machine paths using either PowerMill and /or Mastercam 2019
- Utilize best processes and operations
- Perform "first" off inspections and ensure all parts meet the specifications outlined on the shop drawings
- Perform machine daily pre-use inspections to ensure machinery is functional and safe to operate
- Effectively communicate with supervisor and co-workers and ability to work in a team environment
- Ensure that the work area including machinery is clean and safe at all times
- Ability to deal with changing priorities in a quick and efficient manner
- Ability to work overtime if required

Qualifications:
- Certified machinist with a minimum of 5 years related work experience
- Ability to use either PowerMill and /or Mastercam 2019
- Ability to set up and operate a Toshiba Boring Mill and also other types of CNC Milling machines
- Previous experience setting up and operating boring mills
- Ability to read and interpret drawings
- Knowledge of GD & T
- Strong working knowledge of Fanuc controls and the ability to edit G & M codes, some experience with Heidenhain controls would also be an asset
- Experience using precision measuring equipment (calipers, mics, depth gauges, etc.)
- Ability to work with minimum supervision
