Integrated Supportive Housing ( ISH ) provides basic housing supports in Waterloo Region, connecting people with 14 housing units that may house up to 30 people.
Our housing provides the homeless and those at risk, women at risk, and refugees with affordable, safe housing. This housing is located in our buildings on Queen Street South and in the community.
Integrated Supportive Housing Units:
|58 Queen Street South:||one 3-bedroom unit and one 1-bedroom unit.|
|66 Queen Street South:||two 2-bedroom units, two bachelor units, and one 1-bedroom unit.|
|43 Queen Street South:||two 3-bedroom units with shared common space.|
The Working Centre provides safe, affordable, shared housing.
Residents must be able to live independently and agree to the following:
- Be alcohol and drug free
- Smoke outside only
- Apartments are a safe environment and may only be accessed by current tenants; guests are welcome to visit in the Queen Street Commons Café
- Share responsibility for cleaning
- Have or develop a transition plan
- Meet with a housing support person once a week
