Recycle Cycles will re-open the week of June 15th!

Please read below for details about our new hours and the practices that we have built to make sure we can sell or repair bikes during this time. Masks and social distancing will continue to be required in our hosted spaces at this time.

These hours will evolve over the summer and we hope to be able to re-open in a more normalized way in the fall. Thank you for your patience as we continue to work hard to make sure everyone can be as healthy as possible!

We continue our commitment to recycle, refurbish and repair bicycles as a community-based response to alternative and accessible transportation!

Volunteers

We are inviting skilled bike repair volunteers who are interested in exploring volunteering to contact us by email at recyclecycles@theworkingcentre.org.

We are able to begin to welcome back volunteers through booked shifts the week of June 15th. We are unable to accommodate drop in volunteers at this time.

To start volunteers are asked to only come for the shift that they have signed up for – we are unable to accommodate drop in volunteers just yet.

Public Access Repairs will take place in tents outdoors in the parking lot on the following days:

Wednesdays from 4pm to 6pm and Saturdays from 10am to 2pm

To book a slot please contact us at recyclecycles@theworkingcentre.org. Bike parts (new and used) will be available for purchase during this time only. Please come to the sales window by the front door and ring the door bell. We are happy to help you find what you need!

Refurbished bikes are for sale Saturdays starting on Saturday June 19th from 10am to 1pm.

We will host one household in at a time to look through the bikes that are available.

We are looking forward to seeing you again! Thank you for your patience at this time!
