Volunteers needed for RofW Transit Study - Reduced Fare Bus Passes Available

The Region of Waterloo is looking for volunteers to participate in a research study. http://www.grt.ca/en/fares-passes/transit-affordability-study.aspx (link is external)

The purpose of the study is to demonstrate the importance of affordable transit, to evaluate the effects of different reduced fare transit passes, and to give opportunity for people to access a reduced fare pass.  People who are selected for the study could get:

  • Off-Peak Pass: $23 per month
  • 20-Ride Pass: $25 per month
  • Combo Pass:  $48 per month
  • Unlimited Pass: $65 per month

You can register by dropping in to The Working Centre (58 Queen Street South Kitchener) (or Lutherwood in Cambridge) with proof of eligibility, or you can sign up to attend Information/Registration sessions through Eventbrite links that can be found on the GRT website.

Check the eligibility on the GRT website link and be sure to bring proof of eligibility when you come in to register.
