These workshops have a practical, job search focus and are designed for older workers. We invite people to attend who are actively engaged in their job search and who are committed to attend all the workshops in the series. Regular attendance is important for building group support and cohesiveness.

This series offers people the opportunity to deepen job search skills and self-awareness while rebuilding confidence. Participants will also have the chance to network, discuss and learn with other mature job seekers.

Topics Include:

  • Transition and Change
  • Exploring Your Values, Interests and Skills
  • Understanding the Labour Market
  • Customizing Your Resume and Cover Letter
  • Self-Marketing
  • Networking
  • Job Readiness
  • Interview Skills

The series runs on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9:30 – 11:30am beginning Tuesday, November 18th. Please register by talking to Julia or by sending her an email. Space limited to 10 participants.
