Description: Full-Time Order Selector  
Shift: Continental Nights  
 
 
Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, this position is responsible for participating actively within our Distribution Team in reaching daily production targets. This may include but is not limited to manually picking required products and assembling them on pallets for shipping, assisting with clean up between shifts and handling incoming and outgoing freight manually and by power material handling equipment.  
 
Qualifications:  
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills  
Literacy ability to read related reports and understand product quantities.  
Demonstrates our Values; Team-oriented, shows initiative, and is extremely customer-focused  
Forklift and tow motor license  
General labour experience within a warehouse or distribution centre  
Experience using Radio Frequency scanning units  
 
Essential Skills/Requirements:  
Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs.)  
Correctible vision  
Ability to work Continental night shifts  
Ability and willingness to work in dry, cooler and/or freezer  
 
Key Responsibilities:  
Accurately and quickly, picks a variety of product to fill store orders  
Regularly uses a Radio Frequency (RF) Scanning Unit  
Operates an End Rider pallet truck in a safe and efficient manner  
Builds skids of product with accuracy, for prompt shipment  
Wraps skids manually, using stretch wrap  
Removes damaged product and stretch wrap from skids  
Performs general cleaning duties as required  
 
 
The position is specific to the night shift (6:30pm start - 6:30 am end time) on a continental shift schedule. Starting rate is $14.65 + $1/hr night shift premium + $0.25/hr continental premium.
