Note about this position: The employer has agreed to receive applications from qualified candidates of the Internationally Trained Professionals Internship Program, facilitated by the Waterloo Region Immigrant Employment Network (WRIEN) and Conestoga College.
The Internship Program is set up to assist internationally trained professionals who live in Waterloo Region.
Candidates must be registered with one of the participating community employment services agencies, and applications must be submitted by the candidate's EMPLOYMENT COUNSELLOR.
Dare Foods Limited, a leading Canadian manufacturer and distributor of quality biscuits, crackers, fine breads, confectionery products, and portable snacks is seeking motivated and energetic individual for our Kitchener Plant.
Quality Systems Specialist
The successful applicant for this opportunity is a strong communicator, highly organized and a team oriented individual. Reporting to the QA Manager you will be responsible for maintaining and managing documentation related to raw materials and the raw materials approval process. Other responsibilities include, providing on-line QA support to the production facility, manage and assist with Third Party and internal Food Safety audits.
Basic lab skills are required for this role as well a solid understanding of HACCP/SQF and the ability to implement, maintain, and update HACCP/SQF.
