Miovision is looking to hire a professional software tester with substantial experience with both manual, automatic, and usability testing. The ideal candidate will have an exciting opportunity to build Miovisions QA team and processes from the ground up.
As a Quality Assurance Specialist, will be working directly with engineering, project teams, technical support, and product management. You will be responsible for contributing to all aspects of software quality and testing, including verifying product specification, usability, manual testing, and automated testing. The successful candidate for this position will be responsible for planning, setting up and executing QA and regression testing of our software products as well as coordinating and executing testing for our hardware product.

Our ideal candidate will have most or all of the following requirements:
# Bachelors or Masters in a technical discipline or relevant experience
# Top notch testing skills. You can write and run test plans, setup test environments, create and execute test cases, and perform black-box testing. You have a high standard for what excellent software looks like, and are prepared to hold us to your standards.
# An amazing ability to make just about everything break
# Problem solving abilities and an ability to work effectively in a variety of roles with both technical and non-technical personnel
# Experience with QA software and tools including automated testing tools, and bug tracking software
# Experience testing web, desktop, and distributed systems
# Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Assets:
# Familiar with Agile practices, specifically Scrum
# Experience working directly with customers
# Experience evaluating, implementing, using, and maintaining test frameworks
# General knowledge of C#, HTML, .NET, and JavaScript
# Ability to evaluate, mentor, and train new testers
