Miovision has a novel video analytics application for the traffic industry and we are looking for creative, passionate individuals to join our product development team. As a member of our team you will design and develop state of the art, innovative products for the traffic industry. You will also be involved with cross-functional teams such as Computer Vision, Firmware, Hardware, and Operations to develop a comprehensive media-processing system.

Our ideal candidate will have most or all of the following requirements:  
# Bachelors or Masters in a technical discipline or relevant experience  
# Working knowledge of Linux  
# Amazing C/C++ programming skills  
# Passion for writing clear and concise code and for implementing elegant solutions to complex problems  
# Able to quickly learn new technical skills  
# Enthusiastic attitude with a desire to contribute new ideas  
# Problem solving abilities and an ability to work effectively in a variety of roles with both technical and non-technical personnel  
# Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal  
 
Assets:  
# Experience developing embedded software for ARM based devices  
# Experience with Linux kernel device driver development (you can configure and rebuild a Linux kernel in your sleep)  
# Experience with Qtopia, QT Embedded or Android  
# Experience with Java  
# Familiar with Agile practices, specifically Scrum  
# An eye for user experience
