The Workplace Language Coach is a training resource for employers who hire New Canadians that helps to break down language barriers by offering free English-language training to New Canadian employees.

This project offers:

• Individualized workplace-based language tutoring
• Customized learning plan developed in consultation with employer
• Concrete support to develop communication skills including emails, reports, staff meetings, presentations, and informal communication
• Improved employee confidence when talking with customers and colleagues
