St. Paul's Greenhouse: An innovation community for social innovators and entrepreneurs
"Join us for an inspiring afternoon, as members of our social innovation community showcase their ideas and how they are making a difference. We’ll also be announcing grants for some early-stage, high-potential ideas."
The following startups will be featured at the Showcase:
- Food Not Waste is redistributing surplus food from small businesses to community organizations, putting food into the bellies of those most in need.
- Node is creating compression garments to improve the lifestyle of people suffering from lymphedema.
- PASS Kit is working on a mental health first aid kit to prevent destructive behaviour and empower individuals to better manage their stress.
- Marlena Books is providing meaningful leisure in the form of reading to older adults with cognitive deficits.
