This free language class is designed for Newcomers to Canada who possess skills and experience in Accounting or Business but who need relevant English language skills to gain employment in their field. This Workplace Communication Skills program will further develop accounting professionals’ communications skills.
Communication Skills covered in this course will help you:
- Understand business workplaces in Ontario
- Clearly and effectively interact with colleagues, clients, suppliers, financial officers and government officials
- Develop strong interviewing, networking and career building communications skills
- Network effectively
Date and Time: May 4- August 18, Tuesday-Friday, 9-12
Eligibility for the Accountancy / Business course:
1. You have a background in the profession.
2. Your English is at an intermediate level – Canadian Language Benchmarks 6 – 8.
3. You are a permanent resident or protected person
