Bridges to Health is a day treatment program for adults who are concerned with their substance use
Join us for an informative, interactive, and energizing workshop that focuses on the connection between gardening and nourishing ourselves. We will explore this connection using microgreens, which are packed with nutrients and are easy to grow in your own home.
In this workshop, you will learn to identify microgreens by sight and taste, learn about their health and nutritional benefits, and make and take home your own microgreens-growing kit. Enjoy the warmth and light of the Greenhouse, while nourishing your mind, body, and soul!
This workshop is open to all genders. This workshop is a collaboration between Bridges to Health, a day treatment program for those concerned with their substance use, and The Cultivation Project, an initiative of The Working Centre that promotes the value of gardening to enhance wellness.
