Whole Food Box Items
Example of Spring Box (June-July):
- 1 pint strawberries
- 1 bunch radishes
- 1-2 heads lettuce
- 1 bag spinach
- 1 bag chard
- 1 bag snap peas
- 1 bag snow peas
- 1 bag arugula
- 1 medium head broccoli
- 1 bunch green onions
- 1 bunch fresh herbs
(Spring Boxes may also include: summer squash, zucchini, Asian greens, asparagus, cherry tomatoes)
Example of Summer Box (July-September):
- 5 large eating tomatoes (some heritage varieties included)
- 1 pint cherry tomatoes
- 1 large bunch of chard
- 1 cucumber
- 1-2 sweet peppers
- 1 medium bunch beets
- 1 medium bunch carrots
- 1 bunch fresh herbs (parsley, cilantro, basil)
- 1 bag new potatoes
- 1 medium eggplant
- 1 bag french filet beans
- 2 medium zucchini
- 1 bunch fresh flowers
(Summer Boxes may also include: tomatillos, ground cherries, raspberries, blueberries, cauliflower, peas, summer squash, yellow and green beans)
Example of Fall Box (September-December):
- 2 winter squash (butternut, acorn, spaghetti)
- 1 medium bag beets
- 1 large bunch kale
- 1 medium bag carrots
- 1 bag potatoes (sometimes heritage varieties)
- 1-2 large cooking onions
- 2 bulbs garlic
- 1 green/red cabbage
- 1 stalk brussel sprouts
- 1 sachet dried herbs
(Fall Boxes may also include: apples, pears, pumpkins, honey, beans, kohlrabi, parsnips, fall lettuce, chard, sweet dumpling and delicata squash, dried hot peppers, dried apples, dried beans)
