CSA Box Items

We are now accepting applications for the 2012 growing season!

Design Your Own Share

Choose which items you would like to receive every week or every other week and receive fresh, local supplies to keep you eating well!

Build Your Share from These Options

  • Box of Vegetables
Each week you can choose your box from a selection of boxes prepared by one of our 7 farm families. Each box is different and full of a variety of seasonal produce.
  • Flower Bouquets
Bring the freshness and beauty of the season into your home with a fresh bouquet of flowers every week or every other week from mid-July to the end of September.
  • Fresh Baked Goodies
Choose from a selection of seasonal pies made with freshly-harvested produce and/or freshly baked cookies from Maurita’s Kitchen.
  • Loaves of Bread
All bread is baked fresh for Wednesday pickups at local downtown bakery, Golden Hearth Bakery.
  • Blocks of Cheese
This delicious cheese is made locally at Millbank Cheese. Choose a selection of cheeses that you would like to pick up each week.
  • Eggs by the Dozen
Choose your share of fresh, GMO and drug-free, graded eggs to be delivered every other week. These eggs are grown and supplied by Traditional Foods.
  • Meat
Choose from these monthly options to enjoy GMO-Free Nutrient Dense meat from Traditional Foods.

Your Participation Helps to Support Local Growers and Producers

The CSA Model provides the growers and producers with a guaranteed market for their produce. By joining the CSA, we can offer local farmers and producer stability while discovering new recipes and ideas around cooking with local food.

CSA Member Responsibilities:

  1. All Boxes must be pre-paid at the beginning of the season. Payments can be made in full or by installments when you send in your registration.
  2. All Boxes must be picked up during the Wednesday 4pm-6pm Market Day. Boxes that are not picked up will be donated to The Working Centre’s kitchens or to people living on a limited income. Unfortunately, we do not have the facilities to store orders overnight, but you are welcome to have a friend pick up your box for you – just let us know in advance!
Pickups: Wednesdays from 4pm-6pm at 43 Queen Street South
Available: June to October
To Sign Up: Please complete the order form
