Our crafting space is a creative and supportive place in which people can:

  • Work with others in the community to produce creative products and support local arts
  • Participate in an activity that allows for creative expression as well as the opportunity to create something beautiful to share with others
  • Create local, good quality, affordable and recycled crafts, handmade paper, and herbal products

Herbal Crafts & Weaving

Learn how to make soaps, salves and lip balms with organic herbs from our GROW Gardens.

Paperkräf

Paperkräf is a crafting workshop where people produce handmade paper, marbled paper, and other paper related crafts.

Paperkräf offers a way for you to volunteer while still doing something creative. We make handmade paper, marble, and make other papercrafts to sell in the Queen Street Commons gift shop, and for special orders. Papermaking lessons are provided. There is limited space so please call ahead to ensure a spot.

Paperkräf products include:

  • Handmade paper cards
  • Writing paper
  • Marbled paper
  • Gift baskets
  • Books, journals, and photo albums

Recycled Crafts

Funky crafting using old lamps, bike parts, fabrics, kitchenware and other household items.

Where We Are

The Second Floor Arts Space is located at 43 Queen Street South on the second floor.

Herbal Crafts and Weaving Hours:
Tuesdays from 2:00pm - 4:00pm

Paperkräf Hours:
Wednesdays from 2:00pm - 4:00pm

Recycled Crafts Hours:
Fridays from 2:00pm - 4:00pm

Second Floor Arts Space activities will be on temproarily hold starting October 2009.
