Certiport Testing

The Working Centre offers testing of the Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) certifications as well as Internet and Core Computing Certification (IC3). Certiport is the exclusive administrator of these tests worldwide, and is responsible for the development, marketing, and administration of these certification tests.

Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS)

Certification candidates must pass one or more exams to earn a Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) certification. The exams provide a valid and reliable measure of technical proficiency and expertise by evaluating overall comprehension of Microsoft applications.

These certifications are available in 2000 and XP (2002) for:
  • Microsoft Word
    (Core and Expert levels)
  • Microsoft Excel
    (Core and Expert levels)
  • Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Microsoft Outlook
  • Microsoft Access
  • Microsoft Project

Internet and Core Computing Certification (IC3)

Global, broad-based Internet and Core Computing Certification (IC3) verifies that a candidate possesses the accepted standard level of basic computer and Internet literacy. Internet and Core Computing Certification (IC3) provides the core skills and knowledge necessary to use some computer applications and the Internet. IC3 effectively tests computing knowledge and skills to ensure mastery is achieved and gives a resume-building standard certification as proof of successful completion of the program. IC3 provides the foundation necessary to further enhance productivity and marketability with other desktop application-specific certifications as well as more advanced technical certifications, such as CompTIA's A+.

Call Paul at The Working Centre at (519) 743-1151 ext. 116 to set up a testing appointment.  Testing times are available upon room availability.  Please allow a one week between registering and writing of an exam.
